You’ll need to act really, really fast if you want to get in on this United Airlines offer. Seriously fast. As in: you need to get moving today to take advantage.

On 23rd February 2023 only, United MileagePlus members can book one-way, economy flights from London Heathrow (LHR) to various U.S. destinations (including 23 non-stop options) for just 23,000 miles (plus taxes and fees).

It seems ’23’ is your new lucky number, if you can get yourself over to United’s website ASAP.

You could jet nonstop from London to a range of places in the U.S. — including Boston (BOS), Chicago (ORD), Houston (IAH), Los Angeles (LAX), New York (EWR), San Francisco (SFO) and Washington (IAD).

If you’re not concerned about whether you take a direct flight, you can fly to any mainland U.S. airport under the offer, not just those on United’s nonstop routes.

We spotted the deal available for journeys to Miami (MIA), Portland (PDX) and Seattle (SEA), all of which included one stopover.

LHR can also be your destination, if you prefer, departing from the U.S.

Of course, there are a few terms and conditions, as there always are. You’ll need to “complete” your travel by 18 May this year, and taxes and fees start from £157.21 one-way or from £161 for a round-trip. The offer only applies to new awards bookings.

However, there are no blackout dates affecting this particular deal and there’s no limit to the number of award tickets you can book. You can buy a round-trip if you like, but you’re also not tied to it if you’d prefer to book one-way.

It’s also wise to check if you’re getting the most out of your miles. In TPG U.K.’s February 2023 valuations, United MileagePlus miles were valued at 1p — so a 23,000-mile spend would be valued at £230.

The loyalty programme also has an array of transfer partners, including (but not limited to) Marriott and Hilton.
